I knew someone somewhere,
Who was always in a hurry.
When I saw her running by,
I saw her looking blurry.
She had no time for anything
Or anyone at all.
Her mother, father, sister,
Or even her brother Paul.
Then one day she realized
That time goes by much faster.
She never could slow down,
So time flew by right past her.
I like to wear hats on my feet,
And somehow I think that it’s neat.
But if you think that’s odd,
Check out my friend Todd…
His head is a gigantic beet.

Hiding from your problems
Will only make them double.
Running from your issues
Will give you so much trouble.
If we all hid from our problems
The world would be so bare.
If we all ran from our issues
There’d be no one anywhere.

Water pouring down your face,
You feel the chill of fate’s embrace.
Way too close with every drop,
Will this terror ever stop?
This little thing has caused such strife,
Your worst nightmare has come to life.
In utter horror you will cower
From that hair in the shower.

I only have one chance to say
This thing that’s on my mind.
If I tell you this today,
I hope you’ll think I’m kind.
I have to get this off my chest,
Although I’m feeling meek.
I’m not sure how to say,
“You have a booger on your cheek.”

When I was two a hard thing to do
Was play a plastic blue kazoo.
When I was five a struggle for me
Was adding the numbers 3 plus 3.
When I was six an impossible feat
Was riding my bike down the street.
As I get older, it’s funny how
All those things are easy now.

I have a little secret that’s been hidden for a year.
If I show my secret, my appearance you will fear.
I get a funny feeling when the moon turns half to full.
My teeth start getting sharp and I even start to drool.
My hair is getting long, I can’t stop howling at the moon.
Human meat sounds good, you should start running very soon.

Victor shoveled so much snow,
But in the end you’d never know.
Cause every time he’d make a mound,
More and more would hit the ground.
Finally, he’d had enough,
Keeping up is just too tough.
He took a rest on a pile.
Now, no one’s seen him for a while.

Oh, what a beautiful day
To cast a line or two.
Today’s a perfect day
To catch a fish with you.
I hope we catch a big one,
I hope it weighs a ton.
So far we’ve come up empty,
But I guess we’re having fun.
The water’s calm and still,
Not a single fin in sight.
We haven’t heard a thing,
So we might not get a bite.
I guess we’ll pack it up
And just call it a day.
Maybe we’ll see a big fish
Next time we come this way.

There are bumps all over my body,
And it’s obvious everyone knows.
They’re on my neck, they’re on my back,
They’re even on my toes.
I don’t know how I got them,
But hope they go away.
Some are here, some are there,
They might be here to stay.
The bumps keep multiplying,
They keep popping up each week.
Every time I look around
I see another beak.

I heard a story once before
About a little town-
No one knew a friendly face,
They only knew a frown.
The town was very sad Until a smile came along.
The frowns began to change
And something new caught on.
Now that the frowns are all smiles,
You know it’d be a pity
To keep the name as Frown Town,
It’s now called Smile City.

When you see tree roots
Cracking the sidewalk with a burst,
That’s just the tree reminding you
That they were there first.
